Strike Precinct Script (March 2024)
Florencio pulls the hanging knife out of Monroe and jabs it back into him, connecting with his right side. Monroe lets go, stunned. Florencio gets up and runs down the rest of the alley.
Strike Precinct is a script that follows a rookie bowling ball detective named Monroe Shields who is tasked with finding the killer of his father and eventual partner. This narrative explores themes of revenge and the quest to prove oneself in the process. This dark and harrowing tale sees Monroe trying to make his deceased father proud while being confronted with death in various ways. Click here to learn more.
The Family (Short Story from February 2024)
“I’ve known for a while now that you wanted to get out of the family. Though I don’t understand why, I couldn’t let that happen. When you join the Donati family, you are a part of us until the day you die. Unfortunately for you, that day seems like today.“
The Family is a short story that follows a young man in New York City named Francesco Marchesini, who finds himself in deep waters with the police when he is questioned about a crime he allegedly committed with the Mafia. This piece explores themes of defiance and real-world consequences through it’s small cast of characters consisting of a young Mafia member, his boss, and a sympathetic but determined detective.
